I'm looking for decent IEMs for a Cowon D2 which I'll buy later this week. I've read a lot about IEMs in my price range but it has not been very satisfying since usually there are some people who recommend these or those IEMs and some other people who advise not to buy those ones...
Anyway, maybe it is possible for me to get a clear result for my case: I like the sound of my DT880, so something that sounds that way would be pretty good. However, since I only listen rock music, something more specific for rock and not so all-round like the DT880 could also be suitable for me.
Isolation is important but not as much as sound quality.
I've got an portable amplifier but I'd prefer a solution without an amp (less stuff in my trouser pockets).
I'm a bit on a budget, so lets say 140$/100€ is the highest amount of money I would spend on them.
