So...I've got my SE530s in...and my goodness, this is driving me mad. I'm using the smallest foam tips (the middle sized ones seem a little too large) but they keep making a kind of crinkling noise if I move my jaw (as the tips get compressed) - is this just a downside of the shure tips? Is there anything I can do to remedy this? I'll try the medium sized tips again, but this is just annoying the hell of of me.

Thanks...

Or go with the silicones/triflanges

The silicone ones had molding remaining on them that just irritated my skin...they seemed VERY poorly constructed.

Will the triflanges or the foam ones sound about the same though?

Try them and see what you think, sound is judged not told. The SE530, maybe not so much, but look at phones like the ER 4.....some people praise it, others despise it. Preference. Try it and find out.

x1,000,000

If there's something wrong with the silicons you have, try to get new ones. Or try the triflnage tips.

It's up to your own tastes as far as how they sound. But the triflange tips should give you super isolation. :tri flange smile:
