I was looking to make a little homepage mainly for hosting pics.
And I'd like it to be for free

Are there any good providers you can recommend?

Some ISP's give you some space, FTP capability ... and they're free.

Check our what your ISP offers.

You could always go the Geocities/Tripod ( many others out there ) route as well .. I don't follow the free sites as much as I used to.

I can offer you space on my site (as a sub-domain, unless you wanted to pay for a name), but I'm getting low. Only 18MB left

How big were these files you wanted to store? And any idea on bandwidth requirements? I get 40-100KBPS downloads, depending on the time of day. (tested with a T3 line that can easily cap 1MBPS)

Hi Tao!! If these are pictures of your rig and equipment, you're welcome to upload them here

For pictures I use Sony Imagestation... free unlimited hosting. Only bad thing is, that people need a profile to see it.

For homepage I use prohosting, which offers 50megs free with FTP access. They got banners on the side thoguh, but you can link to pics directly.
