iBasso DX300 - Audio 46/NYC

I stopped into Audio 46 (Manhattan) today to take a listen to the new iBasso DX300. Tony had them in stock but he would not let me listen to it. My only option was to purchase it "hear unheard". What has been your experience with the DX300 as compared to the DX220?

I believe they only allow demoing if its an Open Box item. -fwiw
