Can we purchase the dap during Canjam or these are for demo purposes?
Very soon now. I think you will be happy you waited.
I think I have said the 24th of March. It is the 25th for release. Sorry for the error.
This is what I'd like to know also. I had my DX90 stolen from my car a month & a half ago....to say that I am itching to pull the trigger on the DX150 is an understatement! So on the 25th (Sunday), will it be available on the ibasso website for sale, or on Amazon?
Why do you think so? It is 4 cores, not 8. I believe, the SoC is the same RK3368 as in DX200.Snapdragon 425 processor?
Got misinformedMy only thing that is keeping me from buying the Cayin N5ii right now is that it seems to be having processor issues, with the device not being able to handle regular use due to only having 1gb of ram (freezing up,being slow, etc). I see Snapdragon 425 with 2gb ram on this and don't think I'd hae to worry about that. Gonna wait for user reviews on this before I make my decision.
DX150 specifications:
OS: Android 6.0i9
CPU: 64bit 8 Cores A53
RAM: 2G LPDDR3
Rom: 32G eMMC
DAC: Dual AK4490EQ
Sample Rate: PCM:8kHz-384kHz(8/16/24/32bits) native DSD:DSD64/128/256
USB DAC Function: XMOS XU208, Thesycon USB driver.
WiFi/Bluetooth: 802.11(b/g/n/ac)(2.4Ghz/5Ghz),Bluetooth4.1.
Battery: 3.8V 4400mAh Li-polymer battery provided by MBELL.
Quick Charge: PD2.0, compatible with QC2.0.
Size: 128.5mm*69mm*19.5mm
Weight: 245g
Play time: approximately 10.5 hours when used with the DX150. This depends upon the resolution and current draw of monitors used. With higher resolution more CPU is used so the play time decreases. This is also true with higher demand monitors with more current draw.
AMP6 specifications and measurements with the DX150:

2.4Vrms(32Ω load), 185mW THD+N<0.001%)
Frequency Response:10Hz-40KHz +/-0.5dB
THD+N:0.0004%,-108dB (without load @1.2Vrms)
0.0004%,-108dB (32Ω load @1.2Vrms)
Dynamic Range:117dB
S/N:117dB
Crosstalk:-115dB
Line out:
Output Voltage:2.4Vrms
Frequency Response:10Hz-40KHz +/-0.5dB
THD+N:0.0004%,-108dB (without load @1.5Vrms)
Dynamic Range :118dB
S/N:117dB
Average Play Time: 10.5 hours with the DX150
The play time varies with different sample rate/bit rates, and headphone/IEM load.
Actually the RK3368 is an octa-core A53, not quad core. http://www.rk3368.comWhy do you think so? It is 4 cores, not 8. I believe, the SoC is the same RK3368 as in DX200.
Yes. That's why I think DX150 has RK3368 and not Snapdragon 425 (which is 4 cores).Actually the RK3368 is an octa-core A53

Hi Lurker0, will there be Lurker0 FW for DX150?Yes. That's why I think DX150 has RK3368 and not Snapdragon 425 (which is 4 cores).
Hey, that's fantastic! Thanks for letting us know!guys!!
