I have previously tried doing this with a string of two Y cables, 2x Female 3.5 in -> 1x Male 3.5 out + 1x 3.5 female in -> RCA red&white out. This resulted in a TON of distortion. If either of my two sources was turned up past a certian point the distortion would become unbarable. Is there a AIO box that would have two 3.5mm female inputs with one 3.5 mm female output? It could have been the belkin 2xfem to 1xmale as recently it gives one person Mids and the other person treble & bass when connected to my iPod 5th gen. But I have not the want to putz around with Y cables and want an AIO solution that is sound in both construction and, well sound. I have a 10% THD amp/dac combo hooked up to my pc and im looking at gettting a amp/dac combo with 0.002% THD and I dont want a silly cable to be a bottle neck.
