just brought a new mp3 player (d2) which came with an offer where i get money off a set of earphones
here are my options
Denon AH-C351
Shure SE110
Ultimate Ears super.fi 3
which ones should i get?
i just want the ones that has the best overall sound
if it helps the type of music i listen to are hip hop, rnb, pop and drum and bass

For all those in your list the Denon AH-C351. The SE110 is a rather dated model while I have never really liked the super.fi 3, it doesn't have good bass.

x2 351. You don't really want "the most common brand", do you? That's like...Apple, I guess, eh? Or Sony. Or Skullcandy.

all these are very entry level phones, at least i can say that se110's sound does not match it's price(but if you are looking for isolation, go shure) and that super fi 3 is also very weak in its sound.

if i were you, i'd put some extra bucks to get much better ones.

P.S. not to say these are bad, it's just you can get better ones for not so greater amount of money.

and everyone of these is a huge upgrade form the stock earbud

i forgot to say that my old set are senn cx-300 that i had for my vision:m
i will probably try those out on my d2 then look into importing or wait for when i go to usa(im from uk) to get the head direct re2.
im lookin to spend around £40 ($80-$90) any other reccomendation?

AH-c351 or re-2 then.
but ah-c351 if you can equalize, if not vocals sound muted.
They have great sound-stage which is imo something that eq can't do in other phones so i think u should get it and eq to your favourite sound.
