I need help with making a custom AKG 712 cable

Hi, I need to make (or buy) a custom AKG 712 cable. I believe it is mini XLR to 1/8" trs. I am unsure how to find the right connector ends and cable for this. How friendly are these connector types for DIYers?

THanks for any pointers in the right direction for getting this project going...
