Dell Latitude D600 running XP. Hardware/M-Audio Sonica properties show 1.2.0.0 version in the properties which is really odd when you consider the only version I ever installed on this new machine was the 1205, .exe version (only version I could find).

I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling/removing... all to no avail. It keeps coming back as 1200 :/

The only thing I can think of is maybe I have a mislabeled .exe file.

Bleh...

It even says 1205 in the install screen.

Everything else sounds weird. Wave out, DS and DS with hardware mixing. The first two sound way to tinny and w/hardware mixing sounds all... like my cans were coated in pudding.

EDIT:

Huh... the 1220s show up as 1209s in the hardware/device properties.
