I wondered if there is a way to charge the E17 without having to use a usb to computer connection? When I'm away for a few days and no laptop around- I can charge my iPod Classic; but would like to be able to use a converter of some type to charge from wall to E17?

Sorry for the naive question; just not sure what I should be looking for- so many 'chargers' out there- unsure which is the correct one.

Any help would sure be appreciated.

Thanks,

They make USB power adapters that should work fine.  Try something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Apple-Adapter-Newest-Version-Packaging/dp/B00510E79Y/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&qid=1330383228&sr=8-23

You will then plug in your USB to mini cable that came with the E17 and you are off and charging.

It is possible that there is some logic inside that could prevent this, but I give it a 90% chance of working.

Thanks for the link. I was just afraid of frying the E17. I see there are some other models too- so I'll do some reading on Amazon.

Thanks again for the help.
