Just thought I would comment on the improved audio quality of the Htc One X+ over the old international One X, it seems that htc have finally learnt their lesson and listened to the masses by tripling the voltage of the Realtek Dac in the One X+. As you can see here: http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_one_x_plus-review-845p7.php , the audio quality rivals the likes of the Wolfson SIII and New Iphone in terms of noise and distortion but falls slightly behind in terms of dynamics. From personal experience by using the device with my Phonak PFE 232`s I can safely say that the numbers tells no lies and that the audio quality is indeed much better than the original. Its not quite as good as the GSIII with slight roll-off in the highs, but the bass is a tad punchier I assume due to the extra power the headphone jack is supplying (beats off of course). There is practically no background hiss except when charging when a barely distinguishable coil whine can just be made out.I have heard that the audio quality declines when listening to rock music however I have not run into this issue before. I do not own a GSIII so comparisons are difficult but i do own an Ipad 2 which has excellent audio quality. Compared to the Ipad, the One X+ falls slightly behing however as a portable music player it is much more practical.Overall the One X+ is a great music player that should satisfy nearly every audio purist. Wow. I was not counting on that kind of impressions.

I will try one whenever i have the chance. Is the Android hiss is under control with my UM3x and sound is clean i might go for it.
