BenjieS5unbrick
New Head-Fier
I recently purchased and subsequently bricked a Benjie S5 (non bluetooth.)
Fortunately I found a way to unbrick it, so I'm posting the steps here for people who've bricked theirs too.
I can't take all the credit, I found which firmware to use from a Russian forum.
Enjoy!

- Download and install the firmware updating tool from the Agptek website (included with any firmware).
- Download either:
- Stock benjie firmware (A27122_BEIJIElogo_180604.fw): https://app.box.com/s/imcipw2bl4vusbfnii6a5q3drvi0o2d0/file/310112718443
- Agptek firmware (A_M20_20180701.fw): http://images.agptek.us/Download/AGPTEK_M20(20180910).rar
- Connect your S5 to the computer via usb.
- Enter the ADFU programming mode: Hold the power and volume down buttons simultaneously and press the reset button (via the pin hole on the side).
- The "Audio Product Tool" software should now detect your device in ADFU mode. If not:
- Click the "Mark USB Device" to re-scan for Usb devices
- Retry step 4.
- Select the firmware file from step 2, uncheck "FLASH_ERASE", and then press the "DOWN" button to load the firmware onto the device.
