Lucky me, all my church had for me to burn a CD tonight was Memorex. "Is it crap, or is it Memorex?" I always say. Wouldn't you know it, I get done recording, and the HHB BurnIt gives me "CHECK DISC", and I am unable to finalize because of an error. So now I have a CD filled with all kinds of audio data, but there's a chunk of the inside, the TOC, missing. Is there any way to save this CD? I mean, the data is all there, it's just that because the TOC is missing, I can't access it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This happened to me with more than 250 gigs of stuff on dvd-rs. If there is a solution id love to know it.

I almost saved it. I used Audacity to record 40 minutes worth of nothing, then tried to burn it to the "blank disc". Unfortunately, the burn process failed halfway through and it said "failed to write disc-at-once". I put in the NEC Multispin (yes, Edwood, I'm still making use of this thing!), and it detected it as an audio CD, but when I pressed play on the first track, it was unable to seek. The computer couldn't work with it at all, and the PCDP couldn't figure it out either. Oh well, another lot of music lost at the hands of Memorex.
