How to match speaker / sub-woofer volume and phase?

Hello,

I have a pair of AudioEngine A5+ speakers with my Audio-gd NFB-11 DAC/AMP connected to my SVS Sb-1000 sub woofer. How do I go about matching the volumes of everything?

Is there a systematic way? Volume on Windows is at 100%, my sub woofer is about 50% volume, phase 0, cut off frequency of 80Hz. My amp is about 50% frequency, and my speakers I'm not sure.

How can I calibrate all these volumes?
Thank you

Sorry if its a stupid question.

Set the sub cutoff frequency around the value where your speakers start rolling off.
Get SineGen or some other sound generator and run some sine waves covering frequencies around the crossover between the sub and the speakers (say 50 to 150 Hz). Set it so that the volume from sub matches volume from speakers. If around the overlap band the sound appears to vanish, then try triggering the phase shift. Adjust the cutoff frequency to keep the transition smooth.
