Does the Echo Indigo DJ Sound Card support Dolby (or any sort of surround sound) ? Is there a driver/decoder to get support?
I just read an article. In which he writes "... and future driver updates will also use the twin outputs to support four-speaker surround sound. " (read here: http://www.hometheatermag.com/accessories/904crowson/)
Has anybody tried this? My stereo is only three speakers and my multimedia is only two (plus the subwoofer).
It's just confusing me because it's not a matter of just connecting four speakers. You do need a card that supports (decodes) Dolby, in order for it to send the proper signals to the appropriate speakers.
I guess, if I had a fancy stereo system, I would just decode it that way... but I don't. But if what that writer said is true, I would like to purchase a Klipsch system.
