How to connect a DVD player to a headphone amp?

I searched the forum, but there is no clear answer on this one. So I post this question here.

It seems like DVD players don't have line-out, so if I don't have a recevier, then I can not directly connect the DVD player to my headphone amp. Am I right on this?
If I want to save some money and use DVD player as the source, what kind of connector or adaptor should I be looking for to hook it up with my headphone amp?

I've never seen a dvd player without a line out before. What kind do you have?

Most DVD player has a line out. Here a randomly selected DVD player from amazon look at the picture that what a line out look like Audio-out Analog R-L

You use a regular interconnect if your amp has RCA in or you can use RCA-Mini cable or adaptor if your amp has only mini input.

No, you are not, the stupid guy would connect the ICs in the wrong place and cause damage, it is never stupid to ask, for dumb that the question seems to be, that's the only way to learn (other than read manuals, of course...LOL...)
