I am curious about this because the subject comes up regularly and I suffer a mild tinitus in my right ear.
I am 38 but can still hear a clear 20k

and am keen to retain
this as long as possible.

Something that is of specific interest to Me are peoples natural
noise floors.
when in a silent enviroment[or and ear defenders fitted ]
what do you hear?
listening to your own ears may for some take special concentration as we are conditioned to block constant self noises
etc.
As our ears are a final link in the audio chain I think their condition
warrants attention.

Agree?

The choices are not very technical but will give an idea.
