Hello, I am a tidal subscriber and in the process of buying a new dap. If I get a dap without WiFi, is there a way for me to transfer tidal downloads on my computer to a file for download to a nonwifi enabled dap such as the Cowon Plenue D? Done some searches and found a billion responses on tidal, but none on this topic.

No it's not possible. You can only play Tidal offline music if the Tidal app is installed on said device.

Only the Tidal app can play offline music . You need to be a hardcore programmer/hacker to bypass this :)

You'd have to hack the files and actually break a number of copyright or piracy laws, or at minimum the terms of service, in the process. Tidal and Spotify downloads are meant to work only with the same apps due to licensing, ie, you didn't actually pay for the copies, they just let you download for those times when an internet connection isn't available (or you want to save on mobile data).

Best you can do on a non-Android with PlayStore access DAP is get one that has BT and then stream from your phone.
