How do I verify whether this Shure SE535LTD-J is real?

I just got my 535LTD-J today, it's new and came in it's original box, so before I open it and start using it I wanted to know how I can validate whether it's real or not. Thanks.

I don't think that there is a "verified" way to tell if they're fake. You could ask the seller if he has the receipt(or whether he's an authorized seller), and once you open the box, inspect to make sure every accessories are in the box. If everything is in the box, the best you can do is inspect the finish and listen to them.

Okay, thanks. Do most fakes not have all the accessories in the box? Also, is there anything I can do with the serial number?

Not most fakes, but some fakes don't include everything. If you had gotten the clear version, it would be easier to tell(as you can see the components inside), but other than that, there really isn't much you can do. You could email shure about the serial number, but I'm certain that they'll tell you that it's not guaranteed to be genuine unless you've purchased the pair from an authorized dealer.
