Im planning on pickin up an AV710 and a set of Grado SR-225s. This will be used for listening to music.

Id like to use my HD-570s and my Audigy Gamer for gaming and just general use since they are really comfy and give good positioning.

Can i tell windows to use the Soundblaster card for everything and set Foobar to use just the AV710? Thanks guys..

PS. If i use this setup guide http://www4.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=75655 which output do i put my headphones to, the green one, or aonther one? thanks gents

To use your Audigy for general windows noise and gaming, have it set as your default playback device in the Windows sound control panel, etc. and set Foobar to output to your av-710. To do that for Foobar, its in preferences -> output.

On the av710, if you are using the 'hi-rez' outputs, it will be connected to the black connector, right beside the s/pdif connector.
