Like most I found the stock cables for the Hifiman Anandas to be strangely cheap feeling and looking so I decided to make a replacement. I wanted to go with a black/grey color scheme to match the headphones. After a lot of hunting around and ordering from several different sources I settled on:

DH Labs HP-1 cable. 28g OCC wire. It happened to come in grey. I messaged DH Labs about buying some and they were out, the only place I found it was a European site.
Eidolic 3.5mm and 1/4" connectors. I would have preferred matching rhodium plating on the 3.5mms instead of gold but I liked that they had color indications on them for left/right channels. I was struggling with how to best show left vs right on the connectors.
Matching Eidolic gunmetal y-splitter.
5/16" black paracord.

I've made some replacements of stock cables for other headphones in the past and did not notice much of a difference in sound but going back and forth between the stock cables and this one I do notice an improvement across the board - clarity, detail, soundstage, etc.
