Hiby FC4 power issues, anyone ?

I didn’t see a dedicated thread.

Anyone else own one having issues with iPhone and the fc4 ? If the iPhone is at 50% or lower it cuts off power and will no longer power the fc4. It says it has a low power draw but obviously not.

I did once let it go without interruption and it went well below 50%.

It’s not my cable as I have two that I know work fine.

I think @DenverW owns the FC4 and an iPhone.

On my iphone 8 I do notice a decent power drain on the battery, but haven't had an issue like you're describing.

I figured out the problem. Only one of my lightning cables works on this, I don’t know where I got it. Not sure how or why, but my high quality fiio cables will not power the Hiby. But they do work on my other dongles.

Well. I don’t have power issues but my FC4 has decided to stop outputting stereo to the balanced line. Evidently this is a known problem that can be fixed with a firmware update… but only on a PC. Drat.
