Hello just wanted to ask
between this two i can only afford 1 and will probably only use 1.
Should i go for fatfreq Grand Maestro or Anni 2021 or 2023? they're pricing is really very similiar/close so im thorn between this options.
i asked my friends who had both but they said its different and they cant choose at all so im very interested on other people opinion too on which is better to get? it will be like my daily driver and my last iem/ endgame unless it broke

i mostly listen to jpop then random but 95% of my library is jpop.
unfortunately i cant test them because my friend is on different island.

There are some very excellent reviews, have you searched? If you can’t audition, that’s the best ya got.

I owned both, sold Anni23 to keep my GM.

It depends how you want your music to sound. Generally, for J-pop, Anni23 would be better than GM.

However, I prefer GM because I love the bass, and the treble is IMO 90% of Anni23 already. GM also has bigger staging, which I love.

You can't go wrong with both, and I'm biased so I'll say I'd recommend GM, but on a purely unbiased level, I'd say Anni23 is probably more better tuned for J-pop.

It also comes down to your ear canal and fit. GM's nozzle is big and long, so might be uncomfortable for you unless u get CIEM. Anni23 might fit easier for you. For me, my ear canal is big and deep, so GM fits me much better, whereas Anni23 doesn't fit me well.

Usually your ears are different but not too different. If you think you prefer deeper fit, go with GM. Anni23 is quite shallow fit for my ears (but maybe u can find some longer tips to work with Anni23)

I'm not sure about DAP, but I heard Shanling M9+ or M8T to be very good for it! I like DX260 too. I heard Hiby r8ii is good too. Or Fiio m17

But I'm not using DAP. I'm using transportable desktop dac/Amp. Xduoo XD05 Pro.
