Help with the D2 Zahalou

I just got a modded D2 in today. Plugged it in and the damn mute light won't stop flashing. It plays at a very low set level but that's it? Does it need to warm up or what? There's no mute button it appears to be automatic.

after 15 minutes it is still doing it. sigh something's wrong right?

Are you sure you have selected the correct input(coaxial/optical) and that your transport outputs a working digital signal and if using optical that the cable is intact? How is the unit modded?

I figured out the mute thing by enabling the digital i/o flexijack on my x-fi but while the mute is gone there is now no sound at all? What?

further troubleshooting it. the optical in works fine out of my dvd player.

the x-fi is the problem---figures...I've enabled the digital i/o but no sound and nothing I do changes that.

I hate creative.

lol What EVER I just set the x-fi to default then enabled the digital I/o and it works.....damn
