A few months ago, I remember purchasing a Powerlin Networking Kit by RCA 2 mbps (I know, its slow). I got it dirt cheat though. 'bout 15 bucks. It came with 2 "nodes".
I'm trying to link
one Windows 98 machine and one Windows XP machine.
OR
one Windows 2000 machine and one Windows XP machine if the 98 one won't comply with XP.
My problem: I can get the 98 part of the chain to work perfectly, but the XP part doesn't work at all! I tried RCA's Win XP upgrade kit (as it was made for 95-2k (I wasn't told that))...then it gave me a BSOD. Great. System restore. Back on track, nut the device in question still won't work.
Anyone?
