Hi, I'm looking to make a fully custom DIY DAC using either dual ES9038Q2M chips or a single AK4497EQ chip and put in an OLED display that would show information.

I'm honestly not sure where to start though, I'd appreciate some help.
It doesn't have to measure absolutely perfeclty of course, but I'd like to make a balanced DAC that gets input via USB.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

The Khadas Tone Board is perfect for a starting point. I put one in a custom case, and there's different versions for DIY projects. Sounds great, I used it with a Magni Heresy for a year or two.

That seems really nice, thanks a lot for showing me this!
Any idea how I could possibly hook up a display to it by any chance?
