Initial attempt to find someone that may have had similar issues with an SR25 MkII and content not showing up when used with a car stereo.

My device, when connected via a USB, only sees a very small amount of the content on my unit. I haven't been able to find common information between albums/files aside from the fact that I suspect it's seeing items I've downloaded from the internet on my PC, but not ones I've ripped from CD using EAC on my PC.

Most files are .wav, some are .flac and a few are .mp3. Almost all of them ripped from CD's using Exact Audio Copy. All files are on a 1TB card with albums in their own folders. It's seeing maybe a third of the .flac files, I think it's seeing (all of) the few .mp3 that I have (total are only 60 files between all those), and doesn't seem to be seeing any of the .wav files. I've probably got around 1200 songs/files on the card so far. I've tried changing formats of unseen files, no luck there.

If I use Bluetooth (which requires disconnecting my phone and also has the low audio issue, which I'll figure out some other time) it's seeing everything, but I'd rather use the USB connection. I'm guessing there's some kind of issue that's related to the files missing info or something (due to being ripped using EAC?) and the car stereo being able to see those.

I'm connecting to a 2013 Chevy Volt. Anyone else had an issue with some content showing up and some not and have ideas for a solution?

Out of curiosity, have you tried a smaller card?
Like 256gb? Could also be a file system thing, like exfat vs fat32, or even file name length.

No experience with your issue firsthand, just some ideas.

I've been considering moving everything to a backup drive and reformating the card. Just seems odd that it see's some music and not others, although as I said I suspect the stuff I've downloaded from the internet is what's showing up and what I've ripped from CD is not (and I don't know why that would be). I just haven't gone through it all in detail yet to try and verify.
