Help! Looking for a V-shaped/bass forward set of full size cans for gaming/soundtrack/EDM/hiphop listening with a detachable cord/mic, ideally <$200.

I really love the sound of the ATH-WS1100iS, but sadly my pair snapped completely off at the hinge.

It appears that I can't find another set at a comparable price to the original ($135), so I'm on the hunt now for a comparable set of headphones at around the <$200 price range.

Also, I need these to have a replaceable cord with a mic attachment, since I use these for WFH purposes as well for telephone calls.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Did you try contacting Audio Technica about replacement parts/repair?

Possibly HD630vb, discontinued but still selling for ~$200. Cable isn't detachable (is replaceable though not sure about parts availability), IIRC it has a built in mic though. V-Moda headphones might have something that suits you.

The VModa M100 is probably the closest to checking every box and its pretty close to your budget as well.

Thanks, I actually went from the ATH-M50X to the ATH-WS1100iS - the WS1100iS had such a nicer bass soundstage than the 50s to me. Just felt more detailed but yet powerful.

Ah gotcha. Did you want a detachable cable just to add a mic or do you just prefer a detachable cable? I ask because a bundle like this might work if you don't absolutely need a detachable cable:

https://www.amazon.com/Beyerdynamic-DT770-PRO-Ohm-Smartphones/dp/B082WKPPYQ

DT770 might give you the sound you're looking for, but alas they don't have detachable cables.

Philips Fidelio X2HR should be on your short list, though you'll need an aftermarket mic.
