Company: Headroom
Website: www.headphone.com
Price: USD $89.99

Do you have an MP3 Player, some full size cans, a sheaf of cables and a portable headphone amp but you can't seem to find the perfect travel case to put them all in? Well then the Complete Headcase from HeadRoom is the case you are looking for. This well constructed durable case is a traveling audiophiles dream. This case holds all you need and more for travel.

When I received the case I installed all of my equipment inside the case. I had no problem fitting my two portable headphone amps, full size HD595 cans, 20gig 4th gen iPod and six mini to mini interconnects. It was indeed the case I had been searching for.

This case gives a place a home to most or all of your portable audio equipment. I say a home because that is exactly what it is for your portable audio rig. A home is defined as a place in which one lives that protects from outer elements and the Complete Headcase does just that.

This case honestly is the best case money can buy for your setup and who would you rather buy this from but the nice people over at Headroom? (www.headphone.com)

The only unfavorable feature I found with this case beyond the price tag was the action of having to use Velcro tabs which must adhere to the back of the MP3 player in order to affix with the Velcro pad in the front pocket of the case. However the advantage of the front display is you can control the MP3 as well as see it while protected inside the case itself which I feel is a big plus! The Velcro does not leave behind "adhesive grease" on the MP3 Player (I tested this with the iPod so I am unsure about other players however on the iPod this is the case) when removed however if you like your MP3 Player looking clean it does become a pain to put on and remove the Velcro taps each time you go to place it inside the case unless however you keep your player inside the case at all times. At which that would not be a pain.

The black really sets the case off for a pretty vibrant look. When I got the case I thought it would be much larger however it came almost the exact size of my HD595 cans for a nice fit. That is great considering the smaller a case is, the easier it is to carry around.

Well, in conclusion I found this case to be beyond doubt, exceptional and would be brutally admirable if not for the $89.99 price tag.

Looks like a nice case for $50. Oh wait, it's $89.00...

Seriously, though, price tag aside, I gotta hand it to headroom, though, they know how to make a solid bag. I've seen some of their designs and they are all designed for exactly what they do perfectly. Someday I'll get myself an airbag.

A question: Does this headcase fit Grados? I would think it would. This would more than justify the price tag I think if only for the fact that I could travel with amp, Grados, MZ-S1 and minidiscs (assuming I brought one or two normal 5-disc cases), and battery charger at the same time. Could it fit all of those? (looks at diagram, it looks possible) If so, I'm traveling to visit some collages soon and maybe there's a chance I could beg for one of these. It would be just great to have my Grados with me.

I honestly don't know. It may however I don't know either way. I would more say no because my HD595's had a snug fit as it is and with the extra pertrution from the grados I'm not sure. I know it would fit all of your other gear. You might want to send Headroom and email.
