Hi, i am looking for a headphone (preferably closed) that can be easily driven from the headphone socket of a kindle fire.

Currently i use hd25 or momentum but both are almost at max volume fro my kindle fire.

Any ideas

You might try a USB-C dongle DAC/amp, like the iBasso DC-05.

We have an AKG 371Pro wired and it's excellent even with onboard sound. We plug it into a $9 Apple USB to 3.5mm adapter and power feels unlimited, easy to drive and Harman curve tuning. The Beyerdynamic DT17XX from Drop is really good and 32ohm so no amp needed on them either. Much nicer than the 32ohm DT770.

I already have 2 dongles (pee51 and odyssey hd) and wanted to use headphones directly from the headphone socket to reduce battery drain.
