A contained tube amp? You mean one with tubes inside but covered?

I'd really like to know the differences between the rp6 and the rp5. I love mine but like you, it is burning in. (I also have a cardas senn and it is burned in well).

I'd also like to hear these in comparison to the higher end singlepower's (not a $550 singlepower like reviewed in Soundstage, although the omission of the supra from the review may be indicative). Also the headroom home amp etc... etc...

Go for NX-02. It'd be nice to get it reviewed on Head-Fi.

Why don't you PM Sovkiller. I believe he is still Rudi's contact in the US and probably would be able to give you a decent answer to your questions.
I know that you ordered the NX-02 already, but Rudi's amps are made to order, so it's probably not even built yet.

Thanks for your reply. It's funny that, after I made my decision to order, this thread is getting more and more responses. Never mind.

On Rudis page it says: "Delivery time 5-7 days- ( delivery start from July20)" - so I assume he has a few units in stock.

Put I will PM Sovkiller anyway to get an additional opinion.

Rudi just informed me that he has received my payment and the NX-02 will be shipped on monday.

Pleasant anticipation is a nice thing but waiting for another week - that's torture
