HE 90 Earpad Material

I was wondering if anyone knows what type of material the HE 90 earpad and headband pad are made out of? I would assume leather but that’s just my guess.

I sent a message to Sennheiser 8 days ago about this but so far no response. My goal is to see if some type of conditioner for the material can help prevent cracking and flaking. If anyone with the HE 90 has any tips let me know.

They're made of pleather. Unfortunately they will flake sooner or later. Best to make them last as much as possible would be to keep them in a temperature/humidity controlled environment.
