I am wondering if I should sell my HD800 S for the Encore's as it is also cheaper overall versus what is needed to make the HD800 S shine. Plus portability.

I mainly want a comparison of the technical aspects.

One is TOTL open headphone designed for home use and it was designed to had as much of soundstage as possible.

One is TOTL universal fit IEM

It is like comparing Lamborghini Aventador to BMW Superbike. Both are good, but it was designed for different usages...

BUT if i would to spend almost 2 grand on a pair of IEM's i would maybe look into Custom IEMs
