The Orpheus Chamber Orchestra had an excellent cycle of the Haydn symphonies on DG (not sure if it's still available), as did the Academy of St Martin in the Field conducted by Marriner on Phillips. You could also try the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightment conducted by Kujken on Virgin.

Another option is to search the reviews on Gramophone.

Several years ago Decca/London was selling the legendary Dorati
complete set of Haydn symphonies in 4 CD sets at budget price.
I greedily purchased the entire series! Unfortunately can't find them for sale new anywhere now which is a real shame because these are first rate performances with very good sound.

I see there is a new Naxos label Haydn CD now that has your symphony and two others at budget price, but can't comment on
performance or sound quality. There are very few symphony 74 currently available, although there have been many recorded over the years.

If you are looking for vinyl ignore above comments, sometimes people still use the term album when referring to CDs.
