Hi,

Noticed the feature on ephpod whereby you can christen your Ipod. I've been contemplating calling my IPod Avril but my Girlfriend will kill me. Perhaps, I'm going to call it Paris

How about you guys?

Well, let's just say if I were to name it Avril. Her face would appear everytime I on my IPod... Not!

Sorry couldn't resist. Anyways, I think christening is just a way of identifying your IPod. If I were to name my IPod say Jaskin, then the Ipod Manager would have the option, unmount Jaskin instead of unmount IPod. No biggie, just a way of personalizing your IPod.

I heard at the top of the main menu, instead of saying "iPod" it'll say "Avril" (for example). Main Menu in iPod's OS. True?

Doesn't seem like it's a big deal, might consider it.

I'm pretty sure it is either with the iTunes preference or the updater.
