What? What...........a totally blasphemous title for a thread! You can’t make a thread like this. Common man, ten years ago was the dark ages. Stuff is way better now. Our old gear is inferior, it’s Low-Fi. Lots of new technology and innovation. Mid-Fi is equal to 2010 summit-fi. Where have you been?

So this thread isn’t as crazy as it seems. Let’s go back. Let’s reminisce a little. I know you can. Post a photo of your favorite gear from 2010. You don’t have to still own it. I know you have fond memories............post em!

I didn't have all the equipment I listen to now 10 years ago.

Definitely better. Was not in to personal headphone audio 10 years ago so my personal system involved just some BestBuy bought Bose IEMs. My speaker system was some desktop 2.1 Logitech system, so better on that front too now.

Definitely better now. iPhone 3GS + Bose MIE In-Ear Headphones. From memory, they were pretty bad lol...

10 years ago, I owned cheap generic store bought speakers and they were decent but nothing special but got rid of those so now it’s better

Also, 10 years ago I did not own a turntable so I could not hear my vinyl records that were sitting in storage. But now I own a turntable and dedicated phono preamp and I now can hear old albums in pure hi fi analog. Definitely an improvement from 10 years ago
