Chord mojo uses a arl9056 battery, with specs of Li-Po 7.4Vs and 1.65Ah. From this is it seems like the replacement with Aliexpress should work fine.

Has anyone had personal experience with this?

I've replaced some laptops with generic batteries and the failure rate was really high. They ran hot and stopped holding a charge after a week. It's the last time I'd buy one that isn't UL listed by a company with no brand or reputation to protect.
If you do it, I'd keep a careful eye on temperatures, especially when charging it. If you can find it or something else they make on Amazon, you might get an idea of the failure rate from reviews there.
