I have not read any reviews on any HK equipment. I have a chance to pick one of these up for $104.00 (list is $499.00). It is a 5 disc changer with HDCD decoding. Has anyone heard one of these?

There are several reviews on this player at www.audioreview.com. Apparently it has reliability problems.

I have one and it did die on me but once they replaced the offending parts it has been working for about 2 years now. The headphone out is pretty good but the RCA out will be rolled off and sound a little muffled compared to high end gear. I have some comments on it in the B.A Headwizer meeting reports both here and on headwize.
