I was given some advice that the HK AVR 55 is great for driving speakers. These receivers can be had for under or around $100 so they represent a great value. I was wondering if anyone had any experience driving their headphones through these. If they sound OK then I'll buy one know for that purpose and be able to use it to it's full potential when I get speakers.
Specifically, would one of these receivers downgrade the sound quality when placed between my 0404 and 595?
