Hi,
I recently bought an E17k and to test DSD Decoding searched how to do it with Jriver player but there wasn't a guide,
so ... Here it is
normal_smile .gif

Ingredients:

1_ Get a .dsf music ( 4 free DSD songs are available for download in THIS SITE after you sign up for free)
2_ Buy Jriver Media Center (any version will do I guess)
3_ Download Fiio E17k drivers --> go to E17k fiio.net support page (also install ASIO4ALL - Universal ASIO Driver if you haven't already. just to be sure!)

Note:Just because your Fiio E17k is connected and is working doesn't mean you're using the full potential of it!
Please download and install the drivers for both DSD decoding and lower latency.

Now, How to set up the software: it's pretty easy

1. Install the drivers you downloaded from Fiio website
2. Open Jriver player go to
--> tools ---> options
2.1. Set "Audio Devices" to USB_DAC-E17k[ASIO] (not the other Fiio E17k options there)
2.2. Set "bit streaming" to DSD
3. At the same window, under "setting" category click on "DSP & ..."

3.1. go to "output format"  --> under  "sample rate"check if all the outputs are set as "No Change"!

4. close all windows and reopen Jriver and .... it's done!
Don't forget to change everything back for listening to non DSD files such as MP3
Good Luck
