appreciate any knowledge on local techs that can recable (?) A yanked gs1000 cord. Resulted in a driver becoming unlodged. Want to go to 'addicted to audio' who is the official grado servicer but want to consider/support a local guru who could reliably fix this thing. Much missed. Many thanks and stay safe

I was going to send my GS1000 to Vesper Audio over in Europe for a detachable cable mod, still waiting on some earpads from there.. intl shipping can be slow lately. There is an aussie guy making cables; maybe he can help us out.
Maybe he would be willing to make the headphone detachable if you buy a cable for it? Worth a shot
