Does Clapton's Reptile have some blues on it? I haven't followed him for a long time. When I was in H.S., one of the first albums I bought was Disraeli Gears. I remember him with the Yardbirds, Cream, John Mayall, and Blind Faith. Something about that era... Derek and the Dominos were also good. After 82' I stopped listening to him. I started listening exclusively to Christian music.

Nowadays I'll mix it up. So from a nostalgic point of view I wouldn't mind hearing some Clapton. Does he have a recent blues album out?

Have you heard Dave Hole? From the response I'm getting, either he's an undiscovered gem or nobody likes their new buddy Christianbro, nah that can't be, haha.

Two of my favorite were John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers and Canned Heat with John Hooker "Hooker and Heat"

Older artists included Robert Johnson and Son House

A couple of weeks ago, I broke out "The Savoy Brown Collection", a double CD I had sitting on the shelf. Wow...that stuff always was and still is amazing! IMO, it's the epitome of British blues-influenced rock.
