My iPod Classic (5th gen, I think?) finally kicked the bucket, and I decided to upgrade to a new device rather than repair the iPod. However, coming from over a decade of Apple/iPod use, I have some questions.

1) How do I Shuffle All? From what I can tell, I should just tap the cover art button to play a random song, and then switch to Shuffle mode. Is this the easiest way?

When I skip tracks and go backwards in this Shuffle mode, it doesn't go back to the same song it just played like my iPod did. Is there a way to do that, or am I out of luck, and skip back/forward will always bring up a random song? It seems my iPod shuffle worked by creating an entirely random playlist of all the songs on the iPod, which I could then go back and forward within, but the Fiio seems to play random track (and even displays a random number (song 1056 of 3300, for example)

2) The only USB wall adapters I have are Apple brand, which are rated 5V 1A. I suspect this means I shouldn't use it to charge the Fiio X5? Fiio recommend a DC 5V/2A charger, but would it do harm to use the Apple adapter, or would it just charge slow like my computer's USB port?

3) Is there a way to use Last.fm/scrobble my plays from the Fiio?

4) I inserted a 32GB MicroSD card into the X5, and followed FIIO's reocmmendation of formatting the card with the X5. I went to Fiio Music and swiped right to bring up the format option. I formatted the microSD, and when I plugged into my computer, the SD card came up as "NO NAME." Can I change this name with my Mac, or is it best to leave it as NO NAME because that's what the X5 put it as?

5) My unit seems to keep turning itself off. I opened the SD card slot and once I pushed it back in, I had to turn the device back on. Is this normal? I had a couple other times where I unexpectedly got the Welcome screen, like while I was first downloading the firmware update via WiFI. I also got into some sort of Android Recovery mode today when i tried to turn the unit on. I'm not sure if I activated it by doing something, or if the unit crashed while starting, or what.

6) I noticed some annoying digital "blip" sounds between tracks on one particular album while listening on the X5. The sound occurs right during the gap in the songs, between each track. These blips are not there when listening in iTunes, and I do not have crossfading turned on or anything. Any ideas how to prevent this?

Thank you

Dear friend,

Thank you for the kind feedback.

Yes, you can switch the shuffle mode from now playing interface. We will report to your feeback to our engineers and try to improve the algorithm of shuffle mode.

You can use the 5V,1A charger for charge. However, it may take more time and the battery life may not raise while charging in use.

Last.fm/scrobbler ? Not sure whether it is available. You may have a try by yourself first.

Please check your setting from settins--display--sleep to change a longer display time. You may also check the power-off timers as well. Try to turn them off.

Did you turn on the Viper effect? Or the sampling rates of those song are same or different?

Best regards

Thanks for the reply.

An improved shuffle mode would be excellent!

I didn't turn Viper on (unless it is on by default?). The same rates of the songs are identical.

I have since installed a 200GB MicroSD card. I have formatted the card using the Fiio, and I noticed that the format of the card is ExFAT, whereas my other microSD was formatted as FAT32. Is this correct?

Dear friend,

We will try to improve the switching between tracks in later firmware.

You may try to format your card to FAT32 using this software in your computer: https://www.dropbox.com/s/359hnf44wn3udtk/guiformat.exe?dl=0

But ExFAT can be supported as well.

Best regards

Which cable do I have to purchase to connect X5III to Mojo through COAX digital output?
Thanks

Dear friend,

You may buy a L21(http://www.fiio.net/en/products/50) and use it with the coaxial cable comes with the X5III for collecting the coaxial port of X5III and Mojo. Or you may buy a custom-made TRRS to TRS 3.5mm adapter for help.

Best regards
