I'm looking for a good portable DAP around $200 new or used. I don't need to play DSD files. To me it's just marketing hype and the music selection just isn't really there. (I don't listen to chamber music and random access memories on repeat all day long) What would you guys recommend for something that handles PCM effortlessly? I'm going to use it with Audio-Technica W1000x at home and Audio-Technica ATH-ESW9's mostly. I'm a big fan of non-oversampling dacs with good analog output stages, so would a clunky old hifiman HE802 be a good bet for me? or would something like an AK JR suit my needs better? I've heard good things about the Cayin N3 but it's hard to get good useful info when there are often hundreds of pages non-useful fluff posts to sift through.

Your advice is appreciated! Feel free to link me to specific posts if this has been talked about before.
