Hi all!

I'm recently getting back into music production (was way into it high school, dropped off in college) since I'm now going to be a senior in college and I'm used to adult life (

I've already got a PC plenty powerful (FX-8350 I believe, octocore and 4.0 GHz with a 32 MB cache, with 16 GB ram at 1600 MHz) and I've got decent headphones (Sennheiser HD280). I'm confused about what I need to "drive" the headphones. Obviously, I've heard many stories to this, but the general consensus is I need an amplifier. I've got a sound card (just an ASUS DS) that's not very good, and I've heard audio quality isn't really that good plugging straight in, so I'm assuming I'm going to need an audio interface with an amplifier. What sort of suggestions do you have? I have the rest of the stuff covered, including an Alesis Q25, and obviously my DAW (FL Studio).

TL;DR What essential hardware do I need for producing music?
