Hi,
I am looking for upgrade advise on my current DAP. I've been using iPOD Classic (video) for over 12 years and it seems like I would soon need new player. So far, iPod served me well but there is some wear on buttons and lagging performance.
I am mostly interested in one thing - would any of the new HI-RES DAP's be significant difference in sound quality since iPod technology is almost 15 years old.
Being totally out of touch regarding newest DAP models. Did a little research myself and new DAPs are looking great. Would like to hear recommendations regarding a my options after so much time. Mostly I would be interested in increased SQ and separation, with good soundstage. and balanced sound. Would budget around $300 work for something like this?
I am using iBasoo Mamba D42 for DAC, as well as old, very old Fiio AMP, with ATH-M50's, UE 10, TFZ King’s,…so, hopefully this could serve me few more years.
P.S.Technical question: How could I download/back up my 12GB iPod library to flash drive.
