Is there a way to add the volume control to the UI in foobar2000 while retaining the playlist sidebar?

The problem is that people probably don't know the answer. I was wondering about the volume issue as well, however I've never came across any solution.

It's the biggest omission in foobar, as far as the regulars on HydrogenAudio, etc. The typical solution is hotkeys (like "-", "+"). Seems reasonable. Keyboard mapping is located under preferences. Num+ and Num- are the default volume keys.

additionally, if you have a "multimedia" keyboard you can use the volume control on it since foobar supports multimedia keyboards.

could not get the mm kbd's volume control to work with digital out, straight out or through the keyboard shortcuts (there is no specifier)
