For people that is interested in anime
There is a new season of anime call Reideen

On episode 5, the main character start working in a Vacuum Tube amplifier store

I saw the preview from episode, thought those boxes with small circular tube on it seem extreme familiar, and you know what, I was right, it was a Tube amplifier

Just feel that it is interesting to share my new discovery. I mean, I watch anime for as long as I can remember, but this is the first time, us, the audiophiles have being officially mentioned in an anime

Yoko Kanno rocks. I always groove along to the cowboy bebop soundtracks, albeit there are a few songs that are quite unique.

I'd love to also put a name to who is responsible for composing the (original game) songs for Air and Kanon. Those two have the best and everlasting songs to listen to!

Shinji Orito and Jun Maeda (the latter also wrote Air and co-wrote Kanon, and did all the song lyrics for both).

the folks who killed themselves after listening to Beethoven in the Read or Die OAV looked like they were all wearing Audio Technicas. hmm...

It's 'オーディオ・マニア', or at least that is what I'd get called when I wouldn't shut up about vinyl and headphones and bitrates.
