I seem to live in the biggest hellhole for technology in the country. There is a Fry's and a Microcenter in Indianapolis and Cincinatti, which are each almost 2 hours away. There is nothing good around here. Any audio stores are for car audio. I want to test Sennheiser HD600, HD650, Hifiman He-400, He-500, Denon AH-D2000, Beyerdynamic DT8880's, and more. I think Guitar Center might have the beyers but they don't have those sennheisers, or denons, or hifiman. Any suggestions?

I'd be okay with going to Cincinatti or Indianapolis if necessary, but if you can find anything in louisville, that would be great.

It's not just your town - in general, outside of places like B&H in New York, the USA simply doesn't have places where you can see, let alone try, many different headphones.

My advice is to try to find a head-fi meet or audio show that you can attend, or to look for other head-fier's in your area and organize a mini-meet where you can all bring gear to try. You don't need to have summit-fi gear to have a meet - everyone just brings whatever you have, and when you leave you'll have a MUCH greater appreciation for all kinds of different sound signatures.

I guess I'm lucky. I have 2 shops within 20 miles that carry Audeze, Sennheiser, AKG, Grado, and B&W. (One of them is a Magnolia Hi-fi, try to find one of those)

Thanks for the suggestion but the nearest is like 4 hours away.
