I’m trying to decide if I should go for a used fiio Q5 and get the am5 module for it (I mainly need more power, might consider the thx module) I will not run balanced.
Or if I should simply got for a new Q5s with the stock module (think it will be enough, but would probably want an am5 later.
getting the Q5 with am5 would “save” me about 100usd compared to new Q5s.
Those of you who have listened to both of them - what’s your opinion on this?
I will also use whichever I get as a desktop dac (with the Heresy amp).
